Bye Google Reader!

Many of you may be like me and are sad that Google Reader is going away TOMORROW. I am so sad because I love it. I am sure many follow this blog on Google Reader and woul sure hate to lose you.

To insure that you don't miss any fun posts and upcoming giveaways, there are a few things that you can so.
  • I added ( right over there -----> on the right hand column) a subscribe by email box. Just put in your email and you can receive each post right to your inbox.
  • My husband told me about Feedly  to replace Google Reader and  friends have told me about Bloglovin' to follow favorite blogs.  Check them out and see if any of those work for you. (If you do Feedly, make sure you do it before the 1st (tomorrow) so you can import all your feeds from Reader before it disappears.)

And because I just love all my readers and it has been a crazy busy summer for me, I feel like a giveaway.  Just leave a comment on how you follow my blog without Google Reader and I will pick a winner on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.  (Open to US and Canada)

The lucky winner will receive the Tiny Sweetheart Accessory Templates from Kiwi Lane.

Paper Flower Obsession

Lately I have had a slight obsession with paper flowers. The Silhouette Store has tons and tons of different 3-d flowers to cut and make. I have tried out a few and are a lot of fun to do.

Bouquets for part of a thank-you gift for my husband to take to work.

For Teacher Appreciation Week at my daughter's school, Monday was "Bring a flower to your teacher" day.

A Mother's Day bouquet I made for my Mother-In-Law.

A flower with tutorial for the Scrapbooksteals.com blog.

If you have a Silhouette and haven't tried any of their 3-d projects out(flowers, boxes, frames), don't be afraid to try them out. They are a lot of fun.
